Background
Calibration is a process ran by HRs to re-adjust scores of employees after Performance Reviews.
Companies were performing reviews on Peoplebox, but the calibration exercise was performed outside on Excel and Sheets. This resulted in a lot of back-and-forth between the HRBPs and the Customer Success team to change the scores.
Core Problem
The process of calibration was very long and it required a lot of back and forth with the HRs, Managers and Company Heads. The flow chart below shows a typical calibration process-

My process for solving the problem
We took a data-driven approach, analysing the Key Requirements after talking to our existing Reviews product users like Khatabook, Ind Money and Talent 500.
Key Actions Taken
Adding a heat-map based scoring interface: Introduced a heatmap based scoring that helps to easily get an overview of where employees are standing.
Ability to visualise the tabular data on bar and line charts: Introduced a way to visualise all employees in a bar or line graph that aids in the "Bell Curve" adjustment.
Visualising employees in a 9 box: Ability to add employees on a 9-box visualisation based on two parameters.
Manage Columns and add additional columns: Introduced a feature to add/ remove and manage calibration questions in the table

Impact
31 distinct customers used the calibration feature in the first 2 quarters of its launch. 175 Unique Performance Reviews were created under the time period, that had calibration involved with more than 2000 unique Calibration based Question
